These terms govern your use of hiredaemon.com. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

In these terms, "I", "me", and "my" refer to Hemanta Kumar Sundaray, the owner and operator of hiredaemon.com. "You" and "your" refer to the person using the website.

What hiredaemon does

hiredaemon lists tech engineering jobs from companies' own job boards in one place. With a paid plan, you can apply directly to jobs and see and filter jobs by company. With the Pro plan, hiredaemon also uses AI to compare your CV with jobs and emails you the ones that match. I'm not an employer or a recruitment agency, I take no part in any company's hiring decisions, and I don't guarantee that you'll get an interview or a job.

Job listings

Job listings come from the job boards of the companies that posted them. I try to keep them accurate and up to date, but I can't guarantee that a listing is complete, correct, or still open. When you apply, you leave hiredaemon.com for the company's own website, where that company's terms and privacy policy apply. I'm not responsible for the content of those websites or for what happens after you apply.

License and intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, I own the intellectual property rights for all material on hiredaemon.com, except job listings, which belong to the companies that posted them, and your CV, which stays yours. All rights are reserved. You may use the website for your own job search, subject to these terms.

You must not:

  • Republish material from hiredaemon.com
  • Sell, rent, or sub-license material from hiredaemon.com
  • Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from hiredaemon.com
  • Redistribute content from hiredaemon.com
  • Scrape or copy job listings or other content from hiredaemon.com with automated tools

Your CV and job matching

Your CV is yours. When you upload it for job matching, you allow me to process it, including with AI services, to compare it with jobs and send you matches. You confirm that you have the right to share the information in it. Matches are chosen by AI and can be wrong. hiredaemon may miss jobs that suit you or send you some that don't, so use your own judgement before applying. How your CV is stored and used is described in my privacy policy.

Plans and payment

Browsing jobs on hiredaemon.com is free. The Standard plan lets you apply directly to jobs and see and filter jobs by company. The Pro plan adds CV-matched job alerts and lets you update your CV up to 5 times in any 30 days. Plans are bought for 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year with a single payment, and they don't renew automatically. The Pro price includes a job matching cost, which depends on the job preferences you choose during setup, such as location, job type, and job titles, and is shown on the Payment step before you pay. Once you've paid, the job preferences of a Pro plan can't be changed. Prices are shown on the pricing page. Plans are tied to your account and can't be transferred or redeemed for cash. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. Refunds are covered in my refund policy, and the information I collect when you make a purchase is described in my privacy policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to use hiredaemon.com only for lawful purposes, and not in any way that infringes the rights of others or restricts their use of the website. You agree not to share your account, and not to try to get around the limits of the free version or of your plan.

Disclaimer

The website, its job listings, and its job matching are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. I don't warrant that the website will always be available or error free, or that it'll meet your requirements.

Nothing in these terms will:

  • limit or exclude my or your liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
  • limit or exclude my or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • limit any liabilities in any way that isn't permitted under applicable law

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I won't be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms at any time. Any changes take effect once posted on this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
